Chartered Financial Planners
Ian started working in financial services in 1989, working in client service, managerial and advisory roles. Enjoying the client contact side of his work, he decided to become a Financial Planner in 2001 and has since gone onto gain Chartered status.
While Ian has experience in all areas of financial planning, his focus is on retirement, investment and estate planning where he can build long term relationships with his clients. He can help clients with their inheritance tax position, and he regularly advises multiple generations of the same family.
Many of Ian’s clients start with complex financial positions and he particularly enjoys simplifying their position, helping them understand what they have and, ultimately, allowing them to enjoy their life without financial worry.
Away from work, Ian lives in Devon with his family and regularly goes to Exeter Chiefs rugby matches. He enjoys motorsport and likes to keep fit by walking and rowing.
