Your financial plan, all in one place: Introducing our new client portal
At Francis Clark Financial Planning, we’re continually looking for ways to improve the experience you have when working with us.
We recently rolled out a client survey after three years of extensive listening about what you value and what you want us to do differently. You told us that you would like to see improvements to your client portal, making it easier to communicate with us and share information securely. We have listened – and we are taking action.
We have recently launched our new portal. We will introduce you to it at your next meeting, explain how it works and help get you started.
In the meantime, keep reading to learn more about the portal and the benefits it will offer.
A clear view of your finances in one convenient location
The new portal will give you secure access to your financial information, documents and conversations with us, all in one place.
It is designed to be simple, secure and easy to navigate, helping you quickly find the information most relevant to you.
From your dashboard, you’ll see an overview of your finances, upcoming reviews and any actions awaiting your attention.
You will be able to:
- View your investments and see a breakdown of how they are performing
- Understand how your investments fit within your wider financial plan
- Review documents, meeting summaries and agreed actions
- See upcoming reviews and information requiring your attention
- Access your information whenever it is convenient for you
If you are part of a couple, we can also create a shared ‘circle’ to bring together information from both partners. This is optional and allows you to review your combined wealth while retaining individual access for each person.
Easy access, wherever you are
Once you’ve registered, you can set up an account on any device. We recommend downloading the app if you’re using a tablet or phone, but you can also access the portal through the web browser on your computer.
The designated app puts your financial plan at your fingertips in the same way as other apps you use regularly.
It will keep you informed with real-time notifications delivered straight to your device’s home screen – even when you’re not using the app – keeping you up to date with important messages and actions.
If you don’t have the app, you’ll receive updates via email, so you’ll never miss a thing.
In other words, the portal is your financial plan in your pocket – available whenever you need it and wherever you are.
Secure file storage, document sharing and messaging
The portal gives secure access to your financial information in one central location.
It allows you to safely and efficiently store, organise and share important documents (such as copies of your will and insurance policies) with us. This reduces the need to send sensitive information by email and makes it easier to find information when you need it.
The portal also includes secure messaging, making it quick and straightforward to contact your financial planner or support team between meetings. The experience is similar to using other chat platforms, such as WhatsApp, but with the added reassurance that your conversation remains protected.
Whether you have a question, need clarification or want to share an update, we are only a message away.
For additional security, the portal is protected by two-factor authentication. This is simple to use either via an authenticator app or by text message.
The app also allows you to set up biometric access, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, if your device supports it, allowing you to sign in securely and easily.
