Charlotte Taylor-St Ruth

Head of client experience

Charlotte is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and holds the Chartered Financial Planner qualification. With over two decades of experience, she began her career in financial services in 1998. After nearly 20 years in London, where she worked as a paraplanner and later as an operations director, Charlotte relocated to the South West and joined our team as Head of client care.

As a board member, Charlotte plays an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the business. She works closely with her colleagues to ensure the company’s long-term success, focusing on governance, growth, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. She has overall responsibility for the client experience, leading efforts to design and adapt our services based on feedback gathered through our client listening programme.

Charlotte is the marketing lead for financial planning. She collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure our marketing activities align with the firm’s objectives and resonate with our audience.

Outside of work, Charlotte is passionate about supporting young people with cancer. She established and leads the Devon network for Shine Cancer Support, organising meet-ups and peer support for people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who have experienced a cancer diagnosis.

Charlotte lives near Dartmoor with her wife, their dog, and their cat. She enjoys diving, holding advanced and nitrox diving certificates, and values the mix of challenge and tranquillity it offers. A keen cyclist, Charlotte has completed self-supported rides including London to Paris and London to Amsterdam, as well as the Dartmoor Classic closer to home.
