Mashud Rahman

Head of investments

Mashud is our Head of Investments who joined us in 2018. He sits on our Investment Committee where he works closely with our Investment Management partners to make sure we can provide clients with great investment insights.

Since completing his Economics degree at Exeter University, Mashud has gone on to specialise in Multi Asset Investment Solutions and Sustainable Investing, two core areas within our investment proposition. He is a chartered member of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment) and enjoys furthering his knowledge in a range of areas including Sustainability, Shariah compliant investing and of course keeping up with current macroeconomic events.

Mashud writes our thematic blog pieces and provides regular market commentary for our clients. He works closely with our Technical Team and Financial Planners to ensure our investment strategies remains robust and easy to understand, as well as being on hand to meet with clients to help explain more complex investment matters.

In his spare time, Mashud competes in the South West hockey league as team captain for Isca Hockey Club. He enjoys spending time with his family and as a practicing Muslim, he attends Friday prayer service at Exeter Mosque.
