Nikki Mitchell
Head of operations
Nikki’s role as Head of operations is to ensure the business is running smoothly and our clients receive the high-quality service they come to expect.
She has worked in financial services since 1986 and having held various advisory and financial planning roles, including running her own financial planning practice, Nikki has developed a unique understanding of financial planning.
Because Nikki has such a deep understanding of the end-to-end journey, she is well placed assist at any point in the financial planning process and where required she is quick to step into a situation and solve the issues at hand.
Nikki has a real passion for problem solving and encourages her team to develop the confidence and ability to do the same. Collaboration and inclusivity are key to Nikki’s approach, guiding people to ensure the clients gets the right outcome.
One of Nikki’s passions is getting involved with her local community, most notably by helping to raise over £250,000 for Modbury Association for Recreation and Sport. Not stopping there, she even got involved in the build of the new pavilion and continues to support the organisation as Secretary.
Away from work and her local projects, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, travelling to new destinations, walking in the countryside, experiencing new restaurants, and taking in the odd show at the theatre. She ticked skydiving off her bucket list a few years ago by jumping for the Hearts Together charity but has decided not to make it her next hobby!

Hi, I’m Nikki.
Head of operations here at Francis Clark Financial Planning in Exeter.
So my role at Francis Clark financial planning is to make sure that everything runs really smoothly behind the scenes so that our financial advisors and our support teams can make sure that our clients feel supported and valued along the way.
I’m incredibly proud of the team that we’ve built here.
They are a highly talented and technical bunch of individuals.
They’re really professional and we hold ourselves to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Working alongside our colleagues from across the wider Francis Clark Partnership, we can bring the very best expertise for our clients.
What matters most to me is working alongside people, supporting them to improve processes, really deliver a high quality client experience so that our clients feel really, genuinely supported throughout the process.
When I’m not at work, you’ll either find me in the theatre or out walking in the countryside
with my family and my dog.
