Mark Tweedie
Head of technical support
An experienced financial planning technician, Mark is responsible for providing technical support across the firm. This includes working closely with our Financial planners and external providers to make sure we have the right solutions available for clients as well as serving on our Investment Management Committee.
Having worked in financial services for over 25 years in both London and the South-West, Mark has developed a particular interest in retirement planning, cashflow modelling and the use of trusts. He enjoys making sense of complex situations and his experience and understanding of financial products, providers and planning techniques means his views and opinions are often sought on more complex planning cases.
Mark is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered member of the Chartered institute for Securities & Investment. He holds the Chartered Financial Planner qualification having previously completed a master’s degree in finance and investment at the University of Exeter.
A day off usually involves a paddleboard or a surfboard although he also enjoys watching live sport (usually Exeter City or Gloucester Rugby) and is currently learning to play guitar.
