Kate is a Financial Planner who joined us in 2022 and is based in our Truro office. She started working in financial services in 2004 and became a Chartered Management Accountant before making the switch to financial planning in 2018.
Kate’s experience in management accountancy has helped to develop her strategic approach which she puts to good use in a client facing role as a Financial Planner. She advises on all aspects of financial planning and enjoys helping clients to understand and take control of their finances, working with them over the long term so they can plan their finances as much as possible.
Areas Kate is particularly interested in include inheritance tax planning and helping clients understand their investments. Having worked for investment management companies, her experience is a great asset to her client portfolio as she has a deep understanding of investments and can guide her clients through the investment process from start to finish.
After 6 years working in London and then 8 years in Sydney, Kate decided to relocate back to Cornwall with her family where she spends her time enjoying the beaches, keeping fit and taking her children to their various sporting activities. She hasn’t lost her love for travelling though and enjoys camping in France and Spain where she can explore the local wineries.
