Fiona Morrison
Chartered financial planner
Fiona is a Chartered financial planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has worked in financial services for over 25 years. Over her career it became clear to her that she enjoys working directly with clients, so she started working as a Financial adviser in 2016.
While she can advise on all aspects of financial planning, most of Fiona’s work centres around estate and later life planning for individuals and trusts. Giving peace of mind and allowing her clients to be free to enjoy their retirement is extremely important to Fiona. She takes a long-term view to ensure that even during times of market volatility, her clients are safe in the knowledge that they can live the lifestyle that they have planned.
To specialise further in later life planning, Fiona is working towards accreditation with the Society for Later Life Advisers. This accreditation gives a strong understanding of vulnerable people and general later life issues which will help Fiona provide advice which is in the clients’ best interests and provide greater confidence to the wider team in dealing with vulnerable persons.
Fiona also works with younger clients who are planning their retirement. She likes to understand the personalities and key drivers of her clients so she can help them plan in the way that suits them, whether that involves helping them to move to a flexible pension, taking earlier retirement, or giving them a greater understanding of their overall financial position.
Away from work, Fiona is a member of the local Rock Choir in Salisbury and has performed at local shows such as Armed Forces Day and the Downton Cuckoo Fair. She loves growing her own fruit and veg and on top of all of that, her dog Buddy keeps her very busy!
