Andrew began his career in financial services in 2002 and has worked for a variety of banking and wealth management institutions, gaining varied experience advising a wide range of clients on all aspects of financial planning. He currently leads our team in Cornwall where he helps to ensure we are providing the best client experience, as well as encouraging the team to develop successful professional relationships.
Allowing people to enjoy their lives without financial worry is a fundamental aspect of Andrew’s work. He is drawn to the client experience and financial planning gives him the opportunity to work closely with his clients to understand their goals and to ultimately help them achieve them.
Andrew works with his clients over the long term to ensure they make the best decisions during their financial life stages. This includes accumulating wealth through pensions and investments, ensuring their families and businesses are protected should the worst happen, and planning a comfortable retirement to consider inheritance tax planning and later life planning. He regularly advises multiple generations in the same family which helps Andrew provide a holistic service.
Andrew works closely with his PKF Francis Clark accountancy colleagues and part of his role is to ensure clients who also receive our financial planning services benefit from a seamless, high quality experience. This joined-up approach helps individuals, businesses and trustees to create effective tax-efficient strategies in one place.
A cause Andrew is passionate about is working with the St Petrocs Homeless Society, whose mission is to end homelessness in Cornwall. He volunteers and fundraises in any way he can – sponsored swims, charity football matches and bake sales to name a few.
Away from his job and volunteering role, Andrew is a devoted family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He loves being out on the golf course and also enjoys following the highs and lows of Liverpool Football Club.
