Lyndon Massey

Senior chartered financial planner

Lyndon started his career in banking and started focusing on financial planning in 1999. He gained experience looking after corporate and trustee pensions before moving onto personal wealth planning. Over his career he has gained chartered status and is a fellow of the CII as well as chartered fellow of the CISI, reflecting his financial planning and wealth management background.

The area of financial planning that Lyndon is involved with is wealth management for high net-worth individuals and families. He does this by focusing on the purpose of a client’s wealth, understanding their intentions and giving them the structured planning that they require. This allows his clients to make the most of their financial situation and enjoy their wealth more effectively.

Many of Lyndon’s clients are business owners who have found themselves in a fortunate position after years of hard work. Where Lyndon can really add value to families in this position is understanding and helping them transition into the next phase of their life. He holds a master’s degree in gerontology which focused on the transition to financial independence and retirement, and this gives Lyndon unique insight into the challenges that business owners face during this period in their lives.

Away from work Lyndon is a keen cross-country runner who enjoys living near to the coast. He is trustee for a charity providing food and support, and is married with a son and two daughters.
